Especially when he has an flint-y thing on the counter there. I didn't realize what that DID when I drew it, I just found it as a prop under bunsen burner google search and was like 'I recognize that from science class but don't remember what it does *draws*'. 8| Oops. I can see Dice using them because he smokes cigarettes and uses matches to light them. Ski insists that it looks cooler than a lighter haha.
Oh I know....I prefer strikers over matches (even if you do sometimes have to squeeze them just the right way). But by far either fireplace matches or one of the longer candle/grill lighters works great.
What you can also do is unhinge them and check the flint, and also bend the arm upwards some so that it applies more tension.

OMG, I looove loooooove LOVE Nine's fangs and that mischievous grin he's got goin there! I swear Dice just drops things right in front of his cage on purpose. haha.

Wow, there's a lot of incredulity about the likelihood of this page O.o Hadn't we decided Dice had a hole in his pocket instead? I completely forgot, but if the matches were falling from under the hem of his coat instead it would suggest this and explain a whole lot about why he keeps dropping things. What do you think, would that be an easy fix?
I recall deciding that some things fall while he's rummaging in his pockets and one of his other lab coats has a hole (which he discovers later, AFTER Nine has accumulated all this crap). That was what I was going with.

I imagine all the things were accumulated in various ways. Later Dice finds a hole in one of his lab coat pockets, some of the things are disrupted while he's rummaging through his pockets for a pen and they fall out (like this one here), and others I'm sure Nine craftily pilfers out of Dice's pockets himself right under Dice's nose (ie when injection time happens and they're forced to be pretty close and Dice is focusing on the injections, not Nine's sleuthing.
