I love all the backgrounds you put into these badges you draw! *adore* They really make the badge that much more special!

BTW how do you get those smooth edges on the outside of the BG?

Oh! This badge was die-cut. Before starting the badge, I marked off a rectangle with pencils... when the coloring was finished, I used my paper-cutter and trimmed everything but the ears (which were cut with scissors). The white you see is not actually part of the badge, but is my scanner bed.

In the past, though, I have used masking tape for smooth edges. The only problem is that it tears a little bit when you lift it up. I know that Utrecht carries artist masking tape, but man that stuff is pricey... o.o
