First time drawing a monkey, let alone a Vervet Monkey. Tried to make her a little bigger than normal to show she's a healer/important in her troop species. :)
Kind of like how Rafiki is, a healer but still a little larger than the others. <3

Yeah that's pretty much what I had in mind, and you did a great job of it. Can always rely on you to bring my ideas to life as intended! And I learnt Vervets come in brown too, fun. Thank you very much! I now have nothing to look forward over the next few days. XD

I was really enjoying drawing this one as I love these scenes you give me. So they just come out a lot more naturally I guess. Haha.
There's a few different colourations and I thought brown hues would be nice for her instead of just the grey colouration - I hope thats okay?
I really did spend ages looking at Vervet Monkeys, they're fun things and I think thats the species my cousin got in trouble with in a zoo once. Either that or a squirrel monkey.
They spent ages copying my cousin and a zookeeper told the monkey to not show his bum but lo and behold, the monkey mooned the keeper. XD

You did a wonderful job, I'm glad the little story is still enjoyable for you too. I'm really happy with the brown colouration aswell, much more interesting than the grey I had seen first. You sure did more research than me! Which is.. not hard. My research was 'African monkeys' and see which seems to have the best native to 'X area' to suit the scenes, when which look interesting for the story. =D
