Here's an example of some lutrai architecture, a lakehouse which incorporates a number of items taken from shipwrecks. They favor simple materials otherwise - wood, clay, and especially cloth, which is used to create flexible or otherwise movable walls within the structure. Aside from the main entry ramp, there are also bolt holes dropping down into the lake below.

I went with something that didn't have any straight lines aside from the pilings which hold it up (and even they're round). The idea was to create something that's built to accommodate the semi-aquatic lifestyle. Ease of fishing, ease of access to deeper water, and something that could even be converted to a houseboat with some work.
