Original was on watercolor, 9x12 inches, ink, watercolor
There was a mishap with my masking medium and the original was destroyed pretty spectacularly. Luckily, I have the best patrons. Ashbound gave me some time to deal with my feelings around the project. I was pretty torn up like the painting!
Since I had a great photo of the line work, was able to move this project to digital. I tried out different brushes for this piece to get the water color look I was going for and I was able to keep the texture from the paper.
I cannot thank Ashbound enough for being patient with me and allowing me to experiment. I love getting to draw this character.
