Strahken, born into a society that revered strength and warfare, was the equivalent of a nobleman's child. From a young age, immense pressure was placed on him to succeed, especially after he passed all the rigorous tests to become an Enforcionary. However, Strahken was a natural pacifist, someone who never had the heart for the violent, duty-bound life expected of him. Instead of eagerly taking on his responsibilities, he continually tried to avoid conflict, often volunteering for tasks away from the front lines, citing his lack of experience or claiming he was better suited for support roles.
Yet, his attempts to avoid combat were often misunderstood. Rather than being seen as an aversion to violence, his reluctance was misinterpreted by his superiors as humility or a desire for greater challenges. His soft-spoken nature and kindness, seen as rare virtues in such a war-like society, only further convinced the generals that he was perfect for leading. Ironically, Strahken’s efforts to avoid harm only led him into more perilous situations, as his peaceful nature clashed with the battlefield realities surrounding him. Despite his best intentions, he was consistently thrust into the heart of danger.
