Style explanation:
Spirit cats are very stylised in my story, I like to think that Starclan is very bright and colourful like pretty pastel colours and the Starclan cats are very brightly coloured to reflect this, they also have stars on the chest and in their eyes to show that they are a part of Starclan and not some random spirits.

The opposite to Starclan, the Dark Forest is dark and dull, almost colourless, so over time the spirits who reside there fade from similarly bright-coloured pelts to dull and colourless pelts, eventually they fade entirely out of existance.

'Wanderers' or spirits who belong to neither Starclan or the dark forest are simply shells of who they used to be, with no memories they wander the living world, sometimes being spotted by living cats, they are said to be transparent and their fur and eyes often lack the colour they used to.
