The Ignored Call|A Nexus Legend
<PREV|FIRST|NEXT>This is for my literature exam which limited me to only 10 pages to write with, so in case you feel like this is short, that's why.
Picking up with where we left off with our duo, Cheera returns to her monastery in hopes of turning Nex back to normal only to be let down by her peers.
I originally intended on this being a blend with the next story I'm gonna write for this series, but because again of the page limit, it wasn't gonna work. But I might re-edit them back together once I'm done.
Enjoy.

Huh? What do you mean? I'm certain that being in the maw of the one who rescued you isn't life-threatening at all. *Remembers what fandom he's in* Oh wait, nevermind. I don't know if Cheera's safe either especially because of her hand. But for now yeah, they're kinda safe.
Thanks for reading and the fav.

An intriguing glimpse into the setting. A mysterious wound, a good ol' secluded haven for magic-users to live, learn, etc., and a presumably significant figure having been "reduced in stature."
Speaking of that last one, have you ever played Dragon Quest VIII? The main character has a mouse companion named "Munchie" who, for the most part, chills out in his pocket, but helps on occasion with his ability to fit through small openings, as well as having various "cheese breath" attacks and party-benefiting effects when fed a given type of cheese.
*Pic of the party here, Munchie included*

Thanks. Well, not for them but rather for their teachings; I'd say more, but for now *zips lips on the subject*. He was indeed reduced in stature in the previous tale.
'Fraid not, not really a gaming guy after I came into writing. He looks and sounds cute though.
Thanks for reading.

Hah, that was amazing. A great glimpse into Grossheim and relationship between Nex and Cheera. And that's a shame they don't want to just turn him back if they actually can. Also so fun to write an essentially furry story for school. :P I hope it works well for the exam and good luck with it. I would rate it highly if it depended on me haha.
Thank you. Well, think of it like my faith and I, I don't do certain acts because I think they're sinful, others might do it because they don't think so. Sure, they could just turn him back now, but they'd have to use unjust means.
Ah, but as far as they know they think it's just anthropomorphic animals, like the Redwall series. But yeah, I kinda get away with it. Thanks kindly for the high rating.
