I over did the lighting, the ceiling turned out way too purple. I used a different coloring style on this picture. It's a lot faster then my regular style, I'm going to be using it a lot from now on.

OK, I'm re-writing the description for this picture, because I read over what I originally wrote and noticed how choppy and dislocated it sounded. I just can't used words with the same skill I have for images.

Here my persona, Istaerlus, hugging a tentacles that's coming out of a pool of living slime. Amazingly both Issy and the slime are the same species, they're both liquid shape shifters. The pool itself is actually thousands of other shape shifters gathered together into one being. As you can see from Istaerlus's hand he's joining in too. All of this may seam like a very odd and original idea, but I pretty much stole it entirely from the Founders on Star Trek.

The living building all of them are in is a Nithrak hive. The Nithrak are Zerg like alien insects. My shape shifters, the Proteus, are they're leaders. The Proteus exist to organize and direct the hive so it doesn't fall into confusion and chaos. While the Nithrak are the workers and soldiers who protect the hive. But enough about the Nithrak for now.

As for why I like all these things, that will have to wait for when I have my thoughts gathered a little better.
