It's gotta be hard to know he'll never feel the wind ruffle those delicate tail feathers again and I doubt that metal feels very nice in a sleeping bag when its time for that armor to come off. Also just think of the teasing given his personality now that he can't feel it.

How long do you think it'll take for him to notice that "Tailess Tvaoan" note someone in his squad keeps sticking to it like a kick-me sign? That flashy prosthetic almost seems made for getting tangled in things too. Wonder how often he ends up getting harshly jerked back by his tail because it got twisted up in something or because someone though it would be fun to tie a string to it when he wasn't paying attention. Sure would be a shame if it got snared up in something on the battlefield and he ended up losing what tail he's got left as a consequence.
