Spooky month abroad! Time to get in costume! I wanted to take the chance I was insanely lucky to win one of  clock-face 's recent raffle slots to get more art for my 'sona. Does the getup and pose look familiar, gamers?

As a young latino, I used to spend hours (and ARS quarters) in the local arcade playing the heck out of SNK machines. No games have eaten more of my pocket change money than the Metal Slug and King of Fighters series.

Enter King of Fighters '97, my favorite in the series, where I immediately fell in love with Ikari Team's Ralf Jones, the original One Punch Man. Everything from his design, to his voice actor and his explosive punches THAT LITERALLY SET PEOPLE ON FIRE drew me in. I fell off the fighting game scene around the time KoF 2002 was around, but ever since my first exposure to the series with '97, Ralf has managed to remain my eternal fave.

Despite how big and confident he is, Mar usually doesn't like standing before huge crowds or getting filmed (stage fright!), but get the guy properly motivated, such as bringing up one of his favorite power fighters, and he'll go for a bit of self-indulging fun!

Just... no one ask Mar to try to pull off a Galactica Phantom. That "DOKKAN!" at the end might lead to us losing a few tectonic plates after the blast. ;p
