EXCUSE me? Ok, I can forgive the snarky and caustic part, but sidekick? I'm no one's sidekick! Sidekicks always play second fiddle! No one's favorite character is a sidekick, unless that sidekick ends up getting separated from the hero and becoming a hero on their own. And even then, it's hard to get past the original hero's fame. And whose sidekick am I supposed to be? I wasn't told about any of this! Look, one adventure was already enough for me! I don't want to get pulled into something else here! I'm perfectly content in my small corner of the world. I don't want to go anywhere, or do anything!
...After all, who knows what could happen? There's all kinds of dangers out there in the vastness of the multiverse. I...I can't sleep at night knowing what I know. Even when I close my eyes, I can't escape my own racing thoughts. Even when I try to relax, I can't seem to get anything to stick for long. If I could have just one day where I could fully unwind, and not have to worry about anything at all...
...But that would never happen. Could never happen. If that happened...I wouldn't be me anymore. As lame as it is, this anxiety...it defines me.
