I tried three new things here, and none of them turned out great really. The original concept was this spyglass with starry darkness around it, with the center holding a stylized sailboat going across water. It wandered pretty far from it.
Im not doing dots with an inkpen like that ever again, my wrist did not enjoy it one bit. It was also a hassle to try to make highlighted areas when i dont have any masking for the other stuff, and my hand was generally shaky for all the lines. Top it off with the fact that my metalic silver and gold watercolour just look like a muddy mess in the photography this image was an overall flop.
But at least I learned from it.
