Oh look! Empy's flying and there's a weirdo creature involved!

The big guy is Malchander, who is the beastly embodiment of the moon and is Empy's nightly guardian, whether or not she wants his company. Pretty much a manticore in appearance and he can fluctuate his size between being 30 feet tall when on all fours to that of an average tiger. He can only be seen/interacted with if the moon is visible and his colours are often dependent upon the appearance of the sky, meaning he can be a clear morning blue or a starry, violet night.

Malchander is flamboyant, savvy, and quite pompous, prone to cutting into verbal conflicts and ending them himself for the mere joy of being an arbitrator. He knows a number of lullabies he can sing, dancing in the fog, and consists on a diet of bats and rats, occassionally sharing his food with Empyrisan... much to her disgust.

He's very much akin to the Cheshire Cat I guess, but hope you like it!
