Now, I'm not a terribly fast artist, and I work on multiple things at once to try and keep everything around the same stage. Some pieces may take me longer than others, depending on how complex they are! You are more than welcome to ask for an update whenever you want, but I will show the stages of your commission (sketch, lines, colors, shading) as I get to them. The sketch stage will be the most important one because that's where I encourage you to do most of your revision requests.
I may also take some time where I doodle something for myself, or just not draw at all, to prevent burnout! I hit a wall once, and I stopped drawing for nearly two years. I'd rather not do that again.
