Didn't we make a promise we would meet someday?

Just a little doodle I ended up scribble coloring in between working on commissions. It's inspired by the song, "waiting for a sign" which is honestly one of my favorite songs, it touched me so deeply when I first heard the incomplete version of it. https://youtu.be/c4pBkDV-H5U
I know I've talked about it before, but currently my living situation is chaotic to say the least. It's made working and talking with people very hard, and I wish that I can reach out more. It's been a while since I've talked to some good friends of mine, both irl and online. Do you think we're both waiting for the stars to realign, or have they given up on me?
I hope that I'm not the only one dreaming.

A lot of my friends and coworkers ive made the past 2 years are leaving my irl life. Even if the stars don't realign that doesn't make the time spent with them mean any less to me. It's important to be happy for the time you had with people, even if it can be hard sometimes.
Every big change opens up the opportunity for new chances and connections. I know it's chaotic now but I'm sure you'll find awesome people around you and chances to reconnect with others.
