Umm...shouldn't that be "no safer place to not get..."? I'm not sure I'd trust a doctor whose presence is the best to get stabbed, shot, or poisoned with.

It's like saying "the best place to have an accident is at a Hospital" -- it's not that the hospital causes the accident but that you'll likely get care quickly.

So if someone WAS going to get shot, stabbed or poisoned by an assassin -- his best chance to survive that assassination attempt would be while he was already under a doctor's care.
