Man... It was worth it to save her life, I have bonded with her for over five years and I love her. She's a very intelligent and pretty little ferret, and lets me cuddle her. She is the runt of her litter but that hasn't detracted from her wonderfulness one bit.

But geez, that's a lot of money. Especially hitting as it does when my job is decreasing everyone's wages, I'm moving in a month because the lease is up, and other things all converged all at once. I've paid for some of it already but that leaves a lot left.

At least 5 separate friends told me to start a ChipIn. I balked at it, because I saw how people here jumped on secret when he had trouble just because he'd gotten a lot of commissions in the past; never mind that the past is just that and has little bearing on the present. But, I guess it makes sense, and even though I'm sure I'll have to pay for most of it myself, every little bit would help and would be appreciated. As it stands I only have a few commissions outstanding, which are already completely paid for (and I'm certainly not going to ask the artists for refunds because they have their own financial difficulties), and am not going to be acquiring any more until this is entirely out of the way.
