Sandya is a very calm and collected Kirin.
She often used her knowledge of relationships and her own wedding, to become one of Canterlot's best wedding planners.
She lives in Cantlerlot castle with Celestia, her wife.

She often goes on double dates with Luna and Cosmo, often going to the nicest restaurants Canterlot can offer.
She does get a few odd looks from the citizens of Canterlot as they see her with Celestia, some residents not agreeing with the marriage, but Sandya doesn't let that get her down.

She sees it as more of a reason to stay with the pony she loves, because she knows their love is as strong as the day they met.
Sandya is often seen working with soon-to-be-wed couples, helping them plan the wedding, as Celestia allows residents to use the castle's main hall for weddings and parties.

Sandya is also close friends with Pinkie Pie, who often comes to Canterlot to help her plan the after-party with clients.
