I drew this on a whim, and by on a whim I mean I woke up with the image in my head and immediately spent hours drawing it. I really can't be spending time on this stuff! There are comics to draw! >_<
The idea is a theme I've been attempting to integrate into a TF for two years now. I'm big into classic Japanese fashion and the high level of elegance and detail it provides. Yesterday I stumbled upon this artist and my eyes almost popped out of their sockets. So I applied some of his/her style to the styles I've picked up the past year and this was the result.
I decided to make the model for this my female Cobalt Kimera fursona. She's out of the overalls and into something a little more classy...but not nearly as functional. There's already a story I'm cooking up for this pic that involves her being talked (rather easily) into doing a fashion photo shoot and worrying about having her bell collar off for so long. (The device that keeps her form stable.) Considering how much time it would take to do up her hair and get her into all those layers and posed just right...she'd be pretty much reduced to bleating unintelligibly by the end of it. (And she'd be the first to admit it's worth it.) >D
This will hopefully be inked and colored eventually, but for the moment I have to do lots of other drawings for the aforementioned comic project.
