Stands for Living Cloning Unit. They are based on the tubes of Mewtwo's cloning machine from the first Pokemon movie. They capture and convert (or tf) others into either a clone Pokemon or another LCU. Or if what they capture is already a Pokemon, adding clone markings is another option.
