The last few weeks I simply haven't been uploading or doing anywhere near as much art as I would like and here is why...
What started as a simple boiler check up has spirled from one thing to another, untill it culminated in a new bathroom and a total rewiring of the whole house. Requiring me to spend 2 whole weeks non stop shifting furanture downstairs, because the wiring had 40+ year old rubber insulation and a ground detatched in multiple locations from... the ground.
The electritian found multiple points throught the house where there was evidence of an event that should have burnt the whole house to the ground.
A "three days to rewire the house" has since turned into a three week rewiring (and we're in week 3). Only at the end of week 2 did we get any power beyond one tiny room.
On top of which, I suffered a suspected minor stroke. Which after a week the doctors determined that they had no idea what it was, but it probably wasn't a stroke or a minor stroke. Still, dizziness, pins and needles and boarderline fainting but only on one side of your body doesn't sound good. And I got banned from driving till I got the all clear.
Needless to say, it's all been very stressful.
So all in all, I think I'm doing well getting ANYTHING done.
