And again, it's been a long time since I've uploaded anything.

Around 11 years ago, my motivation to do much of anything creative was pretty much killed by some bullshit I went through. I tried to keep up a bit of my creative output for a while, but it just dwindled down to a few posts a year, if any. I've tried a few "returns," but couldn't maintain the momentum outside of an occasional burst of inspiration.

I want to try to fix that and get back into drawing and writing. In general, I've been wanting to put myself out there more, creatively. As has been shown in my journals, I've gotten back into streaming, with Final Fantasy XIV's Dawntrail expansion being the focus of all my recent streams. Though, since I'm almost done with what I want to stream for that game (until the next patch comes out) I want to start streaming other games. With youtubers I watch, I enjoy people playing horror games the most, because I love the energy and humor that comes with getting scared in videos, so I think I'd like to primarily play scary games. This weekend, for example, I want to try playing Alien: Isolation again. I recently watched Romulus and it got me super nostalgic for the game.

For writing, I have some ideas I'd like to get around, plus another story involving  Kevindragon's characters that I've written part of, but never got around to finishing.

But I really also want to get back to drawing. The surge of "A.I." vomit that's happened over the last few years has disgusted me. I never considered myself that good, but I know I'm damn better than lazy assholes who refuse to learn anything or put any real effort into art, and would rather submit requests from machines that steal artwork from truly skilled people that put in the time and effort to actually CREATE. I want to put out something REAL.

So, for this, I just wanted to practice drawing my Fury again. I'm planning on attending Alamo City Furry Invasion next week and I would like to make my own con badge. In addition to putting myself out there artistically, I want to also put myself out there socially. I have always been an introvert and rather reclusive. My difficulty socializing and expressing myself has caused difficulties for me in the past. Despite being in the fandom for years, I've never actually attended a furry convention, so I wanted to change that. I'm also trying to be more active on twitter (I refuse to call it what that dumbass wants to call it) and make my own tweets instead of just retweeting other people's stuff. I'm doing the Hrothtober 2024 (FFXIV Gpose screenshots featuring Hrothgars) prompt this month on both twitters (one SFW, one spicy~), so go ahead and check them out!
