This was an interesting one. Normally when I do landscapes I tend to do the scenery being a fair distance away so I don't have to do much in the way of actual detail xD The ref I was given had most of the visual details quite close to the viewer so I couldn't just fake it like I usually do.
Had some trouble with a few parts, and the way I did it makes it look less realistic and more "Alice in Wonderland", but you know, I think I'm okay with that. It's certainly not perfect, but I think overall it came out okay, and I hope he likes it.
Lemme know your thoughts, folks. :3

Still love how you drew my quills!
The background looks very nice. Wish the flowers were more detailed though.
But I like how you don't put too much detail into them. It makes you focus on the character while still adding nice color/texture.
Lets face it, when you're standing in front of a field of flowers they all just sort of blur together anyway. xD
btw this is a great pic, it's really pretty
Very beautiful pic!
I love the background.
So he is.
Excellent work all round!
In that sense, seeing this is a litte therapeutic. Very good job on the background, and excellent job on capturing his emotion in this picture, Ru.
But anyway, glad ya like it. A little therapy goes a long way sometimes, heh. Thanks!
The persons sona itself is pretty cute too, most skunk hybrids are pretty....bad to say the least ^^"
I like how the character looks part of the landscape,
the plants and trees remind me of one of those really big natural gardens.
Very summery ^^
