Just jotting this down here so I can copy+paste it for myself later. Feel free to ignore it.

A failed experiment with a very flawed blueprint - Designed to rectify the flaw that most experiments have as an inability to endure water for long periods of time. The 'horns' on her head are actually just hollow tubes filled with air for flotation. Her fins allow proper navigation in water, however, her air tubes prevent her from going very far, as they just bring her back up to the surface. Much like an amphibian, she cannot live outside the water, nor can she live in the water. She must either alternate, or stay moist at all times. She has very short hair, and is missing several teeth, which, when combined with her picky diet, causes her to be very thin. She also has spinal problems giving her a hunch-back. Her only defense is her claws. She has no thumbs.

She was activated in the ocean, with no direction. She knew she could only last so long in water, and panicked to find land. Her gills began to fail, as her lungs slowly filled with water. How pathetic, she thought, to be defeated by the one thing you were designed to be able to overcome. She was losing hope, and was about to allow her lungs to be consumed by ocean, when she came across a very small, and peculiar, yet fresh island.
