This painting features a scene from my recent trip up to central Queensland. During the drive back, dawn was breaking in the valley around Mount Morgan filling the valley with sun breaking through the mist. Pockets of sitting water reflected the inverse sunrise with an eerie glow once we passed the mine. This was the first painting I completed once we returned home, I was so inspired by the central coast, I cannot wait to retun!
