By the end of WWII, propeller airplanes were increasingly rendered obsolete by jet airplanes. But only two fighter airplanes were successfully converted to jet power, like the Yakovlev_Yak-15, while the Strahljäger project to mount a turbojet into the nose of a Focke Wulf Fw 190 fizzled out.
This concept is less ambitious and aims only to couple the original engine with a motorjet, in a configuration reminiscent of the Coanda-1910.
