Since it's now October, it is a perfect time to draw my OC, Jadi Winnemucca. He is a a pronghorn wendigo who was a former inhabitant of Thanksgiving Town. He was a servant and chef for the pilgrims and other folks in Thanksgiving Town, that was until he told them, including the town's leader, that he wanted to partake in the annual feasts as well instead of just simply being there to serve, cook, and clean for the famished townsfolks as he felt that he deserves to be repayed for all of the work he has to do. This angered the leader of Thanksgiving Town, The Turkey, who then ditched Jadi in a remote desert, making sure he does not return to Thanksgiving Town. Jadi walked night after night, trying to get back home, but eventually, he stumbled upon Halloween Town, which he decided to investigate. Jadi spent days in Halloween Town keeping a low-profile, as he was afraid that the inhabitants of Halloween Town would also keep him as a personal servant who can't partake in any fun activities. He was first spotted by The Mayor of Halloween Town, who thought Jadi was a cute deer, and decided to try and get up close, Jadi got scared, and ran behind a bush. Two days later, Jadi was spotted by Mayor once again, and quickly jumps over a fence. Intrigued by this, Mayor announces a town meeting about the mysterious 'deer' he's been seeing. Everyone becomes confused about a 'mystery deer' lurking in Halloween Town somewhere. The towns people thought the idea of a 'mystery deer' to be silly and that Mayor is crazy and out of his mind. However, Jack is the only one who believes Mayor, and decides to investigate with him. They do eventually find the deer in the graveyard, but he runs away once again. Mayor then thought of a brilliant plan to finally see eye-to-eye with the deer as Mayor tries to gain his trust by bringing food to him. The next day, Mayor goes outside with some food, it takes a while for him to find the deer, he looks and looks for him, but the deer is nowhere to be seen. But eventually, Mayor hears calls of distress nearby, which he further investigates, and to his suprise, he found the deer! But unfortunately, the deer had his leg caught in a painful trap, causing him to bleed. Distraught by this, Mayor removes the trap from the deer's leg, and use his coat to stop the bleeding. Mayor takes him home, to nurse him back to health. The first question Mayor asks the deer is 'Why were you trying so hard to hide from me, little deer? I wasn't trying to hurt you or anything!' The deer responds with 'I just thought if all of you were to see me, you only have me as a personal servant who can't do anything other than work all day.' Mayor responds with 'Why would you think that you would be nothing more than a personal servant?' The deer tells him 'It's because back home, I wasn't allowed to do anything other than serve, cook, and clean for everyone. When I finally decided to stand up for myself, I was banished' Mayor starts feeling sorrowful for his new deer friend, and tells him 'Here in Halloween Town, you won't have to do any of that! You be able to freely do anything you've ever dreamed of!' The deer begins to cheer up, and say 'I can actually be myself for once? Thank you! This is the happiest day ever!' Mayor then says 'You're welcome... Ummm... What's your name? The deer tells him 'My name is Jadi Winnemucca, but you can just call me Jadi' Mayor responds with 'Nice to meet you Jadi, I'm The Mayor of Halloween Town, but since you're gonna be staying with me, you can call me Eugene!'

Jadi became fascinated with the traditions of Halloween Town so much, he decided to live there instead of going back to Thanksgiving Town. In Halloween Town, he has finally experienced the best freedom ever offered to him. He soon became The Mayor's boyfriend, and eventually husband.

Note: My OC's name, 'Jadi Winnemucca' means 'The giver antelope.' 'Jadi' is Navajo for 'antelope' and 'Winnemucca' means 'The giver' in Paiute. Like most of Halloween Town, Jadi was once a human. He was a western indigenous man (most likely paiute) who died of either tuberculosis or measles in the 1870s. I could also see Jadi being voiced by 'Billy Luther'

Note 2: Originally, I was going to make Jadi a female, but after doing my research, I'm now determined that The Mayor Of Halloween Town is gay, as evident by the fact that he was the first to compliment Jack at the beginning, and is very dependant on Jack when it comes to planning things that he'd otherwise do by himself, he also had a search team try to find Jack, as he was gone for the entire night, which suggests that The Mayor truly cares about him. He even wrote a little 'love' poem for Jack saying 'your silhouette a dark blot on the moon' you can't tell me otherwise, that was a straight-up poem about him confessing his love for Jack. After Jack's supposed death, The Mayor was not only sad, he was crying his eyes out, and was quite overly dramatic about the situation, which again, suggests he had a crush on Jack. Lastly, The Mayor's voice actor, Glenn Shadix, was openly gay. I thought this was a good opportunity, as Disney hardly has any gay male characters, despite the fact there are statistically more gay men than there are Lesbians. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely have no problem with Disney having lesbian characters, but I think they should have some gay male characters too, as gay men need representation in media as well.

Note 3: I gave The Mayor Of Halloween Town 'Eugene' as his first name because I've only heard fans give him the name 'Eugene' as his hypothetical first name.
