The creases in the bedding are just PERFECT. I really do believe he's lying on a soft surface and that he has weight enough to make it shift. Not an easy feat for some artists. I'm not sure what sort of foot I would expect Shadow to have if he ever took his rocket shoes off, so I suppose I can't praise or dock you for those... There's juuuuust enough pillow in the way that we can't see the expression of his mouth, which is probably for the best. If he was frowning it would ruin some of the cute, since he's such a grouchy character... and if he were smiliing it would just be creepy.... because he's such a grouchy character. His ears are well-placed and well-proportioned, and all of his red markings look good too. Its very bright and the bloom seems a LITTLE too strong, but that's prolly just my preference. If there was an open window with a sunny day outside beaming in, I might accept it more. But, ah well. He looks like he should be the desktop wallpaper for a teenage girl's laptop! This is an excellent fan art piece, and you should be proud.

Wow, I never expected to get a good critique on this piece. Thanks! To be honest, I actually drew this well over a year ago when I was a complete noob at drawing and coloring on the computer. I just scanned a penciled drawing in, put it on Photoshop, made a second layer and turned the opacity down and colored on the new layers beneath. That's why the colors are so soft. ^^; In my opinion, though, I didn't really like the bed sheet effects I did on this one (I thought the effects I did on the Sonic version looked better). They just looked to dark to be bed sheets, but I'm glad you approve :)
