*blows orange soda for an entire day just like on Chowder* What do you mean Doctor "EggMan" Robotnik has been the biggest joke in Video game Villian History since the first Sonic game!
His "rival" is a fuzzy ball that runs fast..NOT a fuzzy ball that can beat the hell outta him Sonic is JUST a Fuzzy Furball That Runs Fast and if anything the recent Sonic TV series which seems EXTREMELY loosely based on Sonic Adventures 1&2 Is that the people in Sonic's world and in the real world are mentaly inadequate to amass an army or a counterattack to fight against a mad scientist that makes evil robots out of the cutest lil forest critters in the world!
The Pinnacle of Dr. Robotnik's career are 3 invetions:
1) Whatever the hell it is that keeps his fatt arse alive after every explosion and most likely responsiable for turning the Short Pudgeball Dr. Robotnik into the Very Tall Eggman.
2) that lil flying/walker thing that he cant go anywhere without for an example google Jabba the Hutt's Hover Sled.
3) Metal Sonic.

Robotnik from the SatAM series cut a pretty intimidating figure. He can be pretty goofy, but look at some of his fellow villains? I mean, how can you say that a human who essentailly takes over an entire planet, turns its inhabitants into robots to work in his pollution-puking factories all so he defeat a fast spikey robot is any more goofy than, for example, a fat fire-breathing turtle who sends mushrooms, caterpillars and...football players to stop his ultimate rival...wait for iiiit....a fat plumber.

He'd actually have been called Eggman in the Genesis games had there not been issues with a song named "I am the Eggman" (by the Beatles I think). More or less I think people just got used to it. I actually thought Sonic simply came up with a nickname for him after so many times of beating him.
I was crazy for this game.
Sonic 3 paird with Sonic & Knuckles
You know the save slots there were about 12 or more i think.
One day a 12 year old boy decided to complete every save slot
with a diffrent charackter, including Sonic paird with Tails.
And if i say complete i mean full complete. All chaos emeralds
and all chaos diomonds. I completet one slot a day.
Why the fuck had i did this? I mean ... completly nonsens.
I have no idea.
also i have no idea if it was for real Sonic 3 and Knuckles
or just Sonic 3. I will never bring it to light.
Another day i borrowd may whole system including this two games
some guy from school. After two weeks he sad to me: Sorry my mum
throwed your console into the dumpster. Here i give you 20 bugs.

For the love of that moment it jsut HAD to be said... and for the fact that it's like the 3 Eggman Planet sized Robot... that strangely enough unlike his grandfather ya just GOTTA wonder how he could build that thing without anyone noticing...

Though I have to wonder why everyone in the comment go directly for the games, although the Death Egg was in the games, the place Eggman and the Death Egg really shined/ is shining again, is the Comics. Eggman isn't one of those villains that appear in most heroes lives, he's cool, calculating, like he's playing chess, sure he's a sore loser but after he throws a small tantrum he's back to work again on his next project. I have to say that Dr. Ivo "eggman" Robotnik is one of my fave villains.
