This was started a long, long time ago. I admit I got too ambitious to finish or organize this, and when I came back to it I was too confused to pick it back up. I want to do another one at some point but I don't know when I can. I am sorry this is not less confusing. For now, you'll just have to drag the pieces around to see what all is there.
You can change hair, bang, eye and fur colors, and add markings too!
You ARE allowed to use the OC you generate but please understand that someone else may generate a similar OC with it. You ARE allowed to upload screenshots of your character. I would love it if you linked what you make to me so I can see :3 If you have trouble dragging and placing certain items, you can right-click and choose zoom in to place better. Then right-click and show all.

Thanks for such a nice compliment! I'm working on another one right now with better graphics and perhaps a little more variance, but I'm running into some coding problems. I'm sure I'll get it working out eventually but it should be much better. I'm not looking to sell it or anything. I just wanted people to have fun experimenting with making different characters. I will eventually take commissions similar to this though that allow the commissioner to dress up their character of choice in different clothing. Thanks for the feedback!

I've seen a few things similar in the past, lime marmel I remember the KISS system, though swf is more portable.
One thing would be useful though is if there was an option to have the parts 'snap' into the right place, not sure if that is possible in the coding though as I've not seen it appear in recent dress-up apps.

You are actually not the first person to suggest snapping! I know it is possible, but my knowledge of Flash coding won't allow for it. I haven't been able to learn beyond Flash 4 but that one's so old there are very few tutorials out there for it any more. I'm trying to make No. 2 a bit more coherent though
