I can relate.
The cupholder, though, that's painful. When someone new to computers (a shrinking lot, thankfully) finds the cupholder joke and tries to tell it to me like it's something that hadn't already been devoid of humor for a decade, I don't know whether to cry or stab them.
I recognize the PC case though, the shop I used to work at sold some models from that line. Decent cases for the price, and I only sliced my fingers open on them three times.
