This was my "G-Rated" submission to a contest held by JabArchives.com a few months back. The contest's theme was to create a picture using Joe Randel's lovely character, Gwen. (In case you are wondering: I didn't win.) :
Though I felt differently when I first drew it, I'm not really pleased with this picture anymore. I can't help but think I made her butt too small and her head too big. Maybe I need glasses. :

I agree with what you said, that "every piece is a progression in skills." I've always tried to look upon my not-so-great pieces not as failures, but as learning experiences. I think the thing that I'm most upset with is not that I drew the pic, but that I posted it for the whole world to critique.
