After being attacked by an assassin in Cheydinhall Tsani drifted into darkness, finding herself naked and alone in endless dark hallways, and though she could not see it she could sense there was another presence there somewhere, stalking her. She had no idea where she was or how she got there after the attack, was it the skooma messing with her mind or was this some kind of afterlife? Much time to think wasn't granted as the presence she had sensed the whole time was aparently closer than she thought as it lashed out at her from the shadows so she ran blindly ahead, not knowing or caring where the path would lead her as long as it got her away from whatever entity was stalking her. An eternity seemed to pass as she ran longer and faster than she had ever done before as she noticed her surroundings changing from smooth obsidian walls to rock untill the path opened up into a large cavern with a single natural bridge over what seemed to be an endless void of a lake, things moving in the inky water which she did not care to find out about what it was. Reaching the other side the tunnel eventually turned into a mine shaft and she felth a sharp pain in her side and something wetting her fur there and running down her leg, and though she didn't look she could smell the blood as it stained her for and only now it seemed to sap her energy as her muscles ached. Yet she didn't stop running as the presence was still right behind her trying to grab her as she ran through the twisted mine tunnel, her body feeling more alive with each step but at the same time failing her as it demanded rest. She knew she couldn't stop running because she knew if she did it would truely be the end for her, then suddenly she saw a light ahead at the end of a a wooden hallway. Finally a way out perhaps? A chill running down her spine as she felt the entity touch her briefly as she had slowed down, it's touch cold as ice despite her body feeling like it was on fire by now as she redoubled her efforts to sprint towards the open door and stumbled right thought it, losing conciousness once more.
She wasn't sure how long she was unconcious bet when she woke up her entire body hurt, even her eyelids as she slowly opened her eyes to stare up at a wooden ceiling and a lantern gently swaying above. She found herself on a bed with her clothes and gear missing and as she tried to get up she felt that pain again where the assassin had stabbed her, although she was no longer bleeding as her wound had been tightly wrapped in bandages. Tsani struggled to sit up on the edge of the bed and look around the room in confusion, not finding any sign of the open door she had stumbled through and she wondered if what she had witnessed there was even real or not. She had no idea how long she had been unconcious for after the attack but some time must have passed as her wound seemed to have started healing as far as she could tell with the fresh bandages, and judging by the swaying of the room she guessed she was on a ship most likely but no clue as to where it might be going or who captured or saved her. Not wanting to wait and be found awake to be interrogated or tortured by her captors Tsani slowly stood up and searched the room for anything that might be useful as a weapon, but other than the bed and some empty shelves there was nothing else in the room so she carefully opened the door and stepped out into the hallway. Bracing herself against the wall she crept forward, wincing every so often as her wound reminded her of itself, her ears twitching to listen for any sounds of alarm as she yelped softly. Thankfully there was no alarm and aside from a pair of unintelligable voices come from above the ship was silent as the grave and Tsani guessed it must have been night time due to the apparent lack of activity on the ship.
Climbing a flight of stairs she slipped and fell right on her wound with a yowl which she was sure would have woken up the entire ship now, but as she laid there biting through the pain she was relieved there was no response so she hauled herself to her feet and and climbed the rest of the way up the stairs wincing with every step as her wound had opened up again a little. Once at the top of the stairs tshe found that there was some one waiting for her afterall as the small form of Pajmuna came bounding up to her and spoke softly "This one thanks Azura Tsani is alive but she should not be walking around now! There is nowhere to run anyway, we are on a ship heading for Roscrea and it is a very long swim back to mainland Skyrim now..." "We're back in Skyrim? Why? And who took us there?" Pajmuna glanced around nervously and gestured towards the stairs " Best to speak back in the cabin before anyone finds us. Khajiit doesn't know why we are taken to the cold place, but these are strange Altmer, lucky they do not seem to know this one is Khajiit so she can move around the ship freely." Pajmuna waited for Tsani to descend down the stairs again before heading back to the cabin. "Pajmuna found Tsani's things but they are in a chest near the captain's cabin and he has the key, but would be no use to get Tsani's things since she is in no condition to fight or swim right now, so she should rest untill we find out with the elves want. It may not be too bad because they kept Tsani alive, if they wanted her dead they would have left her to die in Cheydinhal..."
They made it the rest of the way back to the cabin in silence and Pajmuna hopped on the bed to sit beside Tsani who was panting hard from the exertion of this rather short wallk, it seemed she was still quite weak from the blood loss so she had to admit that she wouldn't have gotten far anyway in her current condition. Pajmuna rested a paw on Tsani's arm to comfort her while she waited for Tsani to catch her breath again. "So what happened back in Cheydinhal? I don't remember what happened after I was attacked...And how long ago was that?" "It has been almost three weeks now since then, Pajumna called for help but nobody came, she remembered one of the beggers had a healing potion stashed but before Pajmuna returned the elves were carruin Tsani away so she followed them. They did what they could to save Tsani and two days later the elves snuck out of the city heading for Morrowind and board this ship. Pajmuna has been trying to find out any information n the meantime but Khajiit has no idea why we are goign to Roscrea or what the elves want." Tani sighed deeply, closing her eyes as she felt very tired suddenly "I wonder if maybe this has anything to do with master Gerring...I finally find his trail and then this happens and it is not the first time things get hostile when I bring up his name...I don't know if I even want to find out wwhat he was involved in but I want to find him again some day and get some answers.." "This one does not know either, but Tsani should rest now, might need her strength later. Pajmuna will keep watch for now...." It wasn't long before Tsani drifted back into a restless sleep but her last thoughts before she did was that Pajmuna was probably correct for who knew what lied ahead of them...
