Okay, i know I'm stupidly late, but like, why on earth we're people giving you grief about popping when i just checked and I'm pretty sure you have maybe two instances of it and they're both just this guy? Am i seeing that right? Isn't this lad literally the only dude you've depicted exploding? Just curious
Definitely late but also to explain three parts of this:
1. there's kind of a trend around inflation communities for there to be huge discourse over popping and content labeling popping. Many who dislike popping want the content to be labelled in the same vain as the insistence sensitive subjects such as gore and violence are. Individuals often give their own specific reasons, but it ultimately boils down to inflation being a kink and popping being a kind of blueballing.
2. These kinds of individuals and comments often show up around people's galleries who often don't have a history of following or commenting on an individual artist, making it less of feedback and more a demand for others to curate their content around them.
3. While I have experienced these individuals, this piece isn't really directed at them specifically as it's more of an extension/reimagining of "skeleton divine death blast" joke with "no popping" as the basis

Personally, i used to not like popping, but now i just tolerate it, even if i still don't prefer it. I understand other people do it 'cause why not. That's what I've come to understand. Honestly, the only things i don't like are more edgy shit, but thats more just in general.
Personally, i feel like the discourse might have something to do with weather or not you take depictions of stuff seriously, and by how much. That's why i used to feel uncomfortable around it, but i've come to understand a few rules of kink in general:
You don't take it seriously
You can't understand it if you don't have it
It's too complicated and too broad of a spectrum to make sense, even to you yourself if you have one
And that you should just like what you like and don't what you don't.
