Genuine question: why do people hate Twitter/X after the Elon purchase? It doesn't seem like it's changed much. Just a face lift, really.

I mean, I personally noticed it changed after him acquiring twitter, so much so that it was banned in Brazil xd

But how so, specifically? I never really saw a difference in it, myself. (And btw, I'm not trying to be difficult. I've just never understood it, and I appreciate the response!) (and btw #2, your art is dope! Really like the lighting on this piece!)

And eh, guess twitter was always a lil meh, but idk, felt like more bots, some management and the whole verified account thing after Elon took over were more rampant.

Because bots are more rampant than ever; He removed "Likes" section on people's pages (can't see what people have liked); He fired 80% of staff of Twitter (who were responsible for moderating the site AND who knew how to run the site in the first place); the verification button having no meaning anymore (a subscription model i think); i could go on... The site is still up and running of course. its not like these changes have stopped people from using it despite these changes, as much as they infuriate us. We still depend on this site, because there is no other site like it.
