Seen up in the darkest of nights, to the brightest of days, June's schedule consists of no sleep and nothing but non-stop work. Coming as part of the job, her lack of sleep leads to her always having a grouchy mood when it comes to talking with strangers or new people. However, when it comes to working with people she knows, those same very people tend to speak highly of the Staff Sergeant. Whether it's favoritism or not, she's overall a rough person to get along with, but they just come down to her forever lack of sleep. "You learn to live inside this box, it's either that or die out in the desert." History -
Born out of wedlock on March 7th, 1988 in the small mining town of Lead, pronounced 'Leed', South Dakota. She lived a relatively normal life at the start, being born into a family a bit sooner than her mother and father expected. About a year after her birth, her mother and father would be married, her father was a veteran of the Vietnam War, a US Army tanker during the war, and her mother was a veteran of the US Navy, a medical officer aboard the ships, her life was set up from the beginning. She'd go through school, getting into trouble, staying up after hours, as nearly every kid would during that time. She'd befriend a human man, a certain Nathan Lloyd, those two would spend time near the abandoned Homestake Gold Mine Quarry, looking down into the pit that never seemed to end that was so close to the edge of town. Regardless of this fact, the two would take the trails, and spend a great amount of their younger years together. While June may have come from a high-status family within the small town, Lloyd was the opposite, stuck in a family that was falling apart around him. June would try the most she could in her younger years to help Lloyd. Though as they grew old, and Lloyd got into more trouble, June was pushed by her family into joining the US Military, as a family tradition, just as her Father, Grand Father, and above had done before. She left Lead right after graduating High School, ending up in the Marine Corps instead of the Navy like her mother beforehand, following her grandfather's footsteps and Joining the USMC Tanker Program, just as her grandfather did during the Second World War. The program was hard when she was shipped out to Twentynine Palms, and took a toll on the anthro, but she got through it, nearly getting to the top of her class, while she lacked the respect of the senior staff, she did earn respect from her peers, mostly from her great ability to lead in times of stress. She would graduate, sadly, about three months after her grandfather's passing. She'd return to Lead on leave after she graduated, paying her respects to the anthro she looked up to years ago, who was now buried at Black Hills National Cemetery just a few hours from her hometown. While the loss took a toll on her, she'd push through, her hope partly restored after meeting her old friend Lloyd in the Marine Corps. Those two would once more form a bond, though that bond would be tested in 2016, as the US once more found itself in a war, once more back in Iraq as a part of Operation Restore Democracy.
