I'd like to think this is just tails inner canine instinct getting out. Letting that more animalistic side do the talking. Lot of male foxes to be like that though around this time in Mobius. Not that it makes them completely lose control. Think of it this way. All the canines that enjoy fattytober are usually in it first due to there large appetite. And for tails. He's had that side of him since he was just a cub.
