Round two against the halfling dullahan, this time with its backup of three animated heads AND its shadowy war mastiff steed! The crew was flagging, beaten and tired from the onslaught. Gael was panicking, with Soliana and Boffin severely wounded and Soli VERY nearly decapitated. But Marius found his stride, Gael found her spine, and Doran saved Boffin and Soli with surprise healing.

After putting the beheaded reanimated halfling back to rest, the group gathered into the cart, patched themselves back up, and continued on their way to Osperos. In need of a house of healing, and bolstered by Doran's magical reservoir of restorative magic.

Gael managed to spot five halo-crowned owls afterward. Heriot's Messengers, they're called. But she'd never seen one with blue eyes before.
