Izzy was enjoying a meal with her friend Leocyn, a teal Lugia, at his favorite pizzeria. As they ate, she noticed bugs scuttling across the floor, which quickly made her lose her appetite. Her attention was drawn to one bug struggling to escape under the table, where it became stuck to Leocyn's paw. He was too focused on his pizza to notice, but fortunately for the bug, it managed to wriggle free. Intrigued, Izzy made an excuse to leave the table, claiming she needed to go to the bathroom. However, as she turned the corner, she shrank down and scampered back to their table. She was curious about Leocyn's paw and wanted to investigate. As she got closer, she watched him reach for another slice of pizza, completely unaware of her presence. In an instant, Izzy found herself pinned beneath Leocyn's toe as he took a bite of his twelfth slice of pepperoni pizza. She struggled to get his attention, but it was futile. His foot came down flat on her, smothering her beneath his weight. She felt his Lugia sole envelop her, absorbing her into its surface, she no longer could scream as she could hear the busy pizzeria and her friend moaning and chewing their pizza oblivious to his friend become one with his sole. it would only take a couple minutes and Izzy would find her self no longer able to move or turn her head. she then felt her self be lifted as she look at the ground.

-MEANWHILE-

Leocyn reached for his thirteenth pizza slice, not even wondering where his friend was. He leaned back and pushed his toe into the ground, flattening his foot as he prepared to indulge in more. He devoured nearly thirty more slices, even snagging one off Izzy’s plate, before standing up and heading home, assuming Izzy had somewhere to be—she often vanished without a word, so he didn’t question her sudden absence. In reality, Izzy's face was repeatedly smashed into the not-so-clean floor of the pizzeria, feeling a bug squish into her face. She realized that her soul was trapped there, an understood that it was no longer trying to absorb any other souls.
