HABIT (who yes, originated from the emh character and yes i take the time to capitalize it every time) formed in our system in 2019 during a mental hospital stay. he was built to be intimidating and violent and destructive and to act like HABIT in everymanhybrid in various ways. he's still a very protective force but we dont really seek out the all-powerful big scary monster types for protection anymore so he's pivoted. it doesnt come naturally to him but he cares a lot and keeps me safe and happy in all the ways he knows how to

i am very much In A Relationship with this guy. its kind of undefinable and nebulous and weird and probably always will be but im very happy with him and this development of our relationship has been part of HABIT's "pivot" into being a more nurturing protector. he is still a giant powerful dragon demon thing, he just also has me as a pet now

ive been really stuck on some trauma shit for months now and he's been my number 1 source of immediate support. he's become way more of that Nurturing comforting presence recently and i honestly really appreciate it lol. he has been there for every single freakout i have about this and he's right there to bring me down from them and keep me company so i dont spiral. i cannnot imagine what i or my life would be like without him, especially right now
