The relationship between Princess Linara May Telorna and the Noble Witch Cedric Graveolyns is a surprising tale of love at first sight. At a gathering of the leaders, nobles and dukes of Telorna as a whole and the distant Unchanging Forest, of which his family hold Regency over, the two bumped into each other by purest chance. Something about their gaze to each other immediately set off interest and sparks between the Deer and the Springbok, and the two began to chat with each other, they only seemed to grow immediately fonder, and asked to meet each other again.

The stirred interest became a friendship, then a few months out, a relationship. The reactions from their friend circle and family was unanimously positive - though met with amusement in many cases. Cedric was once a fallen noble, a vicious and cruel man afflicted by a curse who had to walk a long path of redemption that taught him kindness and humility alongside turning him into the Green Witch: a master druid and healer. And Linara had existed in a fantasy world ruled by chivalry and lofty dreams of heroic knights and fierce monsters, so her friends and family took to teasing her for falling in love with a noble with a preference for magic who was a fellow herbivore, instead of a heroic physically overpowering knight of a predatory species, or even a dragon as she was so fond of.

Perhaps it's because Cedric was flawed, but overcame his haunting past (mostly, as he can be puckish and blunt, even rude, sometimes, but never to Linara) that Linara fell in love with him instead of a shiny hero out of a storybook. She saw his darkness tempered by the light he found and it drew her to him, the same way that he was drawn to her soft and kind heart and open desire to grow into a queen that can hold Telorna's unity, prosperity and happiness first and foremost over herself.

Their days are spent loving and caring for each other as betrotheds do. Playful teasing, gentle cuddling, hugging, kissing, and learning from each other. Though it may not be the fantasy relationship Linara envisioned, it's still a storybook romance for her and her beloved Green Witch as they happily pass the days until they finalize their bond and the Telorna's future king steps up to his future queen's side in matrimony.

This has been happening a lot in the background, so it's good to get this one posted since it's advanced a character's story.

A while back now, Taku bought Cedric, and after chatting and theorizing, we decided to pair him off with Linara, as we felt like they'd be perfect for each other! Despite Linara's sometimes unhealthy infatuation with dragonkin, it's definitely a point of irony that she ended up falling head over heels for a fellow prey species like him, even though his nature as a witch means he has some... sharp surprises for the unfamiliar.

We definitely want to get more of these two being cute together! As well as experimenting with their unique interests and him being "the one" that Linara's vow goes to. But that's all in the future (and not exactly SFW) so that'll be when it happens.
