I think the experience of loneliness is something fundamental to being human. Everyone has to deal with it at some point. You can come to terms with the feeling and then be more okay with it.
It's not always that you can have as much socializing as you'd want. We're not really fully in control of that. It's been the case for me for a long time.
The introspective work has been absolutely necessary for me since I've had to sacrifice a whole lot of human interaction to be able to have my workshop and work with my craft full time. The feeling is still there. You don't run from it. The work means to accept whatever you're dealing with and not be upset or rage against it.

It can be a somber thing for sure. With my own work kicking into overdrive I've been distanced more and more from close, dear friends. It is rough, no doubt about it. But keeping the memories of my friends and family and reminding myself that these people will be just as delighted to see me return to chat is something that helps soothe the troubled waters somewhat <33
