Zhi is a mage bear from a small pilgrim village somewhere in the mountains. He was originally betrothed to the mayor's daughter, but after a terrible event, the god claimed her as his high priestess.
Zhi still sees himself as married to her, and lived in a hut outside the village for a few years. One day he received a vision from the god, telling him to leave the isolated village. Zhi did so, traveling for many months to the nearest city...
