Just thought I'd upload something I've had thrown together a while ago.
This is the current iteration of Admiralty Ranks and who's in charge of who.
High, Mid and Low Officers are catch all terms for specialty Officers. Some examples are:
High-Officers:
Crew, Maintenance and Senior Arms-Officer
Mid-Officers:
Logistics, Navigation and the other Arms-officers.
Low-Officers:
Cooks, woodworkers, sail-masters etc. They all work directly under a Mid or High Officer that their field belongs to. The Captain seldom interacts directly with them in day to day business.
Someone higher on the rank axis can technically order around anyone lower then them. But orders from those with direct authority always take precedent.
