This is the first fully completed part of my cosplay of the character Lourraine Mouritzeen by pumpkincreampie

(I have never linked an account before, I hope I did it right)
Mouritzeen is an English military fox girl, a character I have grown fond of since being shown images of her. I found her to be relatable.
Her helmet features a large antenna, the purpose of which I am unsure of (probably a radio) which protrudes from a leather pouch at the back. I recreated her helmet in the real world using a circa early 1970s north vietnamese TNXP (volunteer women) pith helmet, a belt that I modified, as well as an old zippo lighter pouch. The antenna has been made out of a wire hanger bent to shape and a plastic ball taken from some cheap necklace.
I have acquired other items for the outfit, such as a beige military shirt and green tie, but the most important part is probably her uniform jacket. I have been looking at English army woman's uniform jackets for sale, I don't quite know which best matches Lourraine's, but I have selected a few that will hopefully be in my size.

I didn't expect you would see my attempt, I'm probably going to disappoint you and not do your character justice, as this is my first ever attempt at creating any kind of costume/cosplay. I had planned to be ready before Halloween, but it seems it probably won't be.
By the way, could you tell me anything about the uniform or accessories she wears, such as her strange head band thing? I don't know what to call it and haven't been able to find similar ones easily.

That's alright I haven't really define her design completely there are little details I will change overtime and an attempt to cosplay is very flattering regardless if it is out of Halloween season, nevertheless the head band or cowl is meant to be a thin fabric open-face balaclava which canonically helps to hold the helmet on top
