The only way to free this goddess from her chains is through a sacrifice...
Someone's blood must be spilled to break those chains...
You're thinking maybe, just maybe... to sacrifice yourself!
For many this would be a thing only madmen or fools would do...
But you're not either of these things!
Luckily for you, and for the chained goddess, you are a feline, and everyone knows cats like you have 9 lives, so giving up a life for her shouldn't be that big of a deal.
From your holster, you take your trusty flintlock and point the barrel at your chin... closing your eyes... while taking a deep breath and......
The blow of a hand cannon roars for the halls of the temple... followed by the tingling sounds of chains breaking... the goddess free from her bindings.
She looks at your cold body, quite shocked about your sacrifice... but before she can even approach you, you rise from the ground fully recovered, ready to be at her service! (at least once the headache goes away...)
You didn't remember death being so... PAINFUL!!!
