All of his life, the Guardian has been told that he needs to stay strong, that he needs to hide his feelings away, that the right thing to do is to protect those that he cares about. He needs to be a man, capable of doing anything that he sets his mind to.
That isn't why he left his hometown to create a rescue team. He's a coward. He always has been. Even more so than his little brother. He has spent so much of his life protecting others that he's walled himself away. Is there anyone out there capable of breaching his defenses and allowing him to show his true self to the world?
