Originally, the Nightstalker armor set was much simpler, and brighter. it was changed for a few reasons.
1. Too bright
2. wings were constantly being changed during this time.
having the wings look like a cape sounded cool, but in practice, it looks silly.
2. too simple/restrictive. i blame the shoulder-plates.
