So after I did some of those redraws of characters from Blacksad, I drew a couple of friends on my own. Here are Echo and Khail again but this time looking a little more true to their species.
Its obvious to me that drawing in the style of Blacksad affected my art. But I like it. I hope to keep this up and someday make something of it.
Also Echo said he loved Bolt, so that was an influence as well. =3
